Inspiration

With so much plastic around us, it seemed to be most available product on earth - Since it cannot be destroyed without further damage to environment, better to recycle as much as possible, while avoiding the really bad varieties.

What it does

Top Rated Assassin brings out the varieties of plastic and their harmful effects, enlightening players to understand and differentiate the ok-to-use plastic from better-avoid plastics - keeping the game theme of fighting aliens to save the earth - using plastic waste.

How we built it

Ground up on VS Code using Flutter Flame engine and Dart, with art assets made on Ibis Paint

Challenges we ran into

Time and holding back from adding a much details as possible - we felt there is so much to tell

Accomplishments that we're proud of

This is our first Flutter-Dart project and that too on a topic very close to heart - sustainability for earth and the natural environment

What we learned

Effectiveness of story telling and educating through games, and the excitement of building games

What's next for Top Rated Assassin

Expanding laterally to other environmental and social problem areas, that can be gamified and hopefully create awareness, if not change.
