Inspiration

This game involves the user traveling from different kinds of areas, a forest, a dungeon, and to a final room, where we will need to go against a boss.

What it does

The player can use WASD keys to control the player, as well as have the ability to shoot arrows. He will have to fight against enemies.

How we built it

We used the 2020 Unity Editor to develop the basic animations.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into multiple issues with the collaboration and syncing of all of our projects. The C# file refused to compile when I was trying to code an extensive program for the scene manager in unity Debugger refused to work as a result, and any tools to help

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were able to make sure that everyone had a part in creating the project, and everyone had a role in creating the project. We were able to implement a pathfinder for the enemies, which uses ai, and allows it to track the position of the robot.

What we learned

We learned multiple important concepts in Unity and Collaboration, as well as how to implements 2d physics into Unity, as well as learning how to make different objects interact with one another.

What's next for Top Down Adventure

We had a vision of creating a game that can teach the player about ethics, and help him differentiate between what's right or wrong. We will plan to seek different tools, now that we know this one is insufficient we will learn more about these projects as a whole in the future.
