Our Story
Scrolling reels is tough with your hands, we made experiencing brainrot handsfree. Reels, gambling, Tinder. The Holy Trinity of Brainrot. Using your tongue and facial expressions you can control your device hands free, whether you're unable to use your hands or busy doing other things, anyone can scroll on reels, swipe right on Tinder, or going all in on Blackjack, stick out your tongue and control your next move.
How we built it
Using Python, OpenCV, Google Media Face Landmarker, and Playwrite.
Challenges we ran into
Tongue recognition wasn't natively supported, leading us to create a tongue-direction dataset to train the model. Ultimately, we created our own trained set of data. Media editing was also a challenge, getting the best shots and ideas for our pitch and stringing it all together took a group effort, creating something unique we all are a part of.
Ending
A huge learning experience was gained by building this project. Coming from around the world and grouping up as a team is an experience, having diverse backgrounds gave us an idea we collaborated on, that idea being brainrot.
