Inspiration
We can get the health conditions from the tongue. Our application TongueBit can scan users' tongues to get their health information. Users are able to diagnose the tongue immediately and ask nearby doctors for help.
What it does
The application TongueBit can scan users' tongues to get their health information. Also, users can connect Fitbit account to log in and import basic personal activity data to our application. Users are able to diagnose the tongue immediately and check the nearby doctors' information. Users can choose the available doctors for help and send their tongues information and Fitbit data to doctors to diagnose health information.
How we built it
Both front end and back end are involved in building this project. First, the upper half of user interface shows the user's health condition about tongue quality, steps, sleep, activity time. The lower half of user interface are four buttons, which are tasks, records, doctor nearby, and resource, to access different functions.
Challenges we ran into
We are not familiar with API. It took much longer than we expected.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We connect the Fitbit data to our application and we can get more health information. So the doctors can analyze the user's health condition based on tongue and Fitbit data.
What we learned
We learned the Fitbit and Google map API to analyze users' health condition and help users find their nearby preferred doctors.
What's next for TongueBit
We will improve the interaction between doctors and patients.
