Inspiration

From the day I spent more time with laptop on the coffee shop, or other "third place" in a new city, making new friends is always a good option to counter the depressed feeling after 5 hours dose of caffeine. I build tomoropomodoro and want to share it with people in same time and space, let them know here has music and a place to chill.

What it does

It is an account-less social media app intended to gather people in the place with music. I.e art studio, coffee shop, restaurant and clubs. It use pomodoro. A 25 minutes focus timer as friendly cover (also works really well for ADHDer) it helps creator to meet each other and make new friends in the same time space.

How we built it

We use SwiftUI for the app, and JS for the web.

Challenges we ran into

Apple have fast moving api and it is not so friendly to developers.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

People who love it are really love it.

What we learned

Everything is so hard in unexpected ways. And what we perceive as hard turns out to be easy.

What's next for tomoropomdoro

We are integrating more meaningful content into pomodoro timer and creating local events with local art communities.
