Inspiration

We loved tomodachi life for the switch so we tried to bring a little bit of its magic onto web!

What it does

You make a character (called a "Wheez") and take care of them!

How we built it

React NodeJS, Firebase Hosting

Challenges we ran into

Integrating Live2D into the website.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Created and displayed a character that you can interact with and can change its expressions.

What we learned

React TypeScript, how to integrate music into the background of the website, how to integrate Live2D characters and animations, how to deploy a website using Firebase.

What's next for Tomodachi Web:

Integrate character customization system and expand button options, as well as clean up the UI.
