Inspiration

Many of my friends have experienced needless difficulty writing essays, and I saw an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of countless high school students.

What it does

Seperates the essay text into separate paragraphs that can be individually edited. More broadly, it is intended to tackle the things that keep passionate students from succeeding at writing, such as the intimidating idea of a large page that must be filled without any guiding framework in place.

How I built it

HTML5, JavaScript, Cloud9, Git, latest version of CSS.

Challenges I ran into

Determing what goals to focus on, and which goals to reserve for the future.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Very clean, lightweight, and stable UI built using only the bare bones.

What I learned

I strengthened my knowledge of CSS, Javascript, and HTML, the building blocks of all websites. I also improved my understanding of the theory behind Git and how it operates over the network with GitHub. In addition, I discovered the utility of the Cloud9 service.
