Inspiration
I got the inspiration for building this project because as i visited Noida to attend GDSC wow Delhi Ncr event so i come from palwal and their is an toll between Palwal and Faridabad where i see that it takes 20 minute to cross that toll. So here i see that it's not all about traditional Toll system but this situation is occurring after intro of Fastag. So time issue in tolls is very bad.
What it does
Actually it is an Ai based system which can Render an real time video to extract every footage which is capturing in every second by camera. And if it found any car then it will try to find it's number if it done then it will extract text written on the plate.
How we built it
So basically first i use Python programming , and i use Open computer vision Module to detect car and its number plate. EasyOCR is an Optical character reader which is an popular module extract Text from that number plate picture and mainly use jupyter notebook for training machine learning module.
Challenges we ran into
The main challenge i faced is to find a way how can i detect and extract number plate so this is the main problem i ever faced. and the one problem i faced to implement this project to setup an CCTV in local area for real world operation.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
As an student Second year i am proud that i started to built Machine learning AI project and i start something to pursue my career of machine learning as my interest.
What's next for TollXpert
As i am trying to implement this project with a strongest base which provide more task rather than Toll deduction to ease daily lifestyle with an application and trying take it as a startup.
