Tokenvest

deFi investment platform powered by the Radix network allows users to invest in unique products and create products to get an investment. Transactions are being made immediately via RDX tokens.

Inspiration

We believe that modern-day crowdfunding and investment platforms can be decentralized to provide higher security and faster transactions

What it does

Application decentralizes the investment process, it contains two main concepts

  1. as an Investee, Create unique products, raise the amount, and change the world.
  2. as an Investor, Invest in products, raise that amount, and give the opportunity to change the world.

How we built it

We created an interactive web application via API connected to Radix wallet and triggered our smart contracts which are deployed to Radix betanet. For the smart contracts we used Radix scrypto language, to develop smart contracts. For the UI we used NextJS to build an interactive web application For the database and content, we used strapi.

Challenges we ran into

  1. Setting withdrawal limitations within investment using the radix blockchain.
  2. Storing necessary data of products on our DB to use in smart contracts, connected with the products.
  3. Getting resource amount of radix wallet.
  4. Handling account roles.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

This is our first version of MVP, completed on the Radix network. covering main functionalities and features needed.

What we learned

Challenges using scrypto toolchain, compared overall investment process to the regular one.

What's next for Tokenvest

We are researching how we can apply venture DAO principles to the investment process, by creating an investment club and equal investment platform.
