Inspiration
Gaming has always been a passion for me, and one day while working an idea crossed my mind, what if LLMs could play with humans and control some aspects. However this would end up consuming a bit of tokens from users plans ... ergo tokenkiller
What it does
Token Killer is a 2D cooperative boss-fight game where your teammate is a real AI model fighting alongside you in real-time. Both of you use the atb bar to take turns adn defeat bosses , AI can ocassionally drop smark comments.
How we built it
Built entirely with WebMCP and Phaser 3, with a lot of tokens (it did become a TokenKiller of itself)
Challenges we ran into
Testing it without Chatgpt, art and art fidelity
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Companion customization, core loop, training dummy art fidelity.
What we learned
WebMCP implementation and using different tools in order to accomplish a goal
What's next for TokenKiller
One of the big ones is making the boss be AI controlled, making a skill tree testing how many players the server can actually hold.
