Inspiration

Global interest in non-fungible tokens (NFT) has risen significantly in recent months. Hundreds of NFT projects are available for investment. It’s difficult for newcomers to know which possibilities are worth investigating. Each NFT marketplace brings together minters, buyers and sellers - NFTs can really be anything digital (such as drawings, music, your brain downloaded and turned into an AI), but a lot of the current excitement is around using the tech to sell digital art. Though the buzz is around NFTs towards fine art collection - this phenomenon of NFT has potential beyond artwork.

What it does

NFTs slowly getting in mainstream and certainly need a platform that aggregates multiple marketplaces to support on multi-chain protocols. Here we bring the Token Marketplace – that is one stop solution to get a view of multiple wallets in a single app hence it brings ease to mint, buy or sell the NFT with choice of wallet hence the underlying cryptocurrency. Token Marketplace features details on each minted NFT bringing transparency with attributes like – date of minting, listing bid value, historical owners and associated bid and sell values. In addition, owner and creator details tagged along with each NFT.

Driving forces that influenced to bring Token Marketplace Increasing need of an aggregator in NFT segment as Google aggregates content from websites and Facebook aggregates social connections. Similarly, aggregator is an integral part of the NFT ecosystem. Challenges for end users when an individual have to access different marketplace associated with each protocol like different interfaces, learning curve, switch between marketplaces to see all the NFTs. Our aim to provide seamless NFT buy, sell and explore experience to the end user. As the concept of an asset is built into the open source software that powers the File coin network. This makes the process of issuing NFTs on the File coin network more secure and much easier.

Solution Features

Gateway to NFT ecosystem - Powered by Horizon APIs, Token Marketplace collects all the NFT transaction information from different chains into one place, thus providing a better trading experience for users by improving efficiency.

User dashboard - Users can connect their wallets to keep track of all NFT collections and explore new collections through the same interface.

Solution has next gen features like NFT market data visualization, ranking sourced from different protocols, search engine for NFTs.

How we built it

Token Marketplace gathers NFT information in one place, allowing users to optimize their NFT experience. Without Token Marketplace, users would have to visit each NFT marketplace, register and view the NFTs. Token Marketplace provides the best user experience through “The Gateway to the NFT Ecosystem” mode. Whether you are a NFT enthusiast, expecting to explore the world of NFT or an NFT analyst, hoping to use data to analyze this market, Token Marketplace will open the door of NFT world for everyone.

Token Marketplace is built through an established technology stack that enables us to operate with the agility, scale, and ease of integration required in an ecosystem. Outsystems is a low-code platform that enables the delivery of experiences to users across many channels – web, mobile Android, and iOS. Node.js is used to construct APIs on top of the File coin, which may be consumed by an ecommerce platform or the Token Marketplace app, depending on the demoed functionalities. Transfer APIs have been developed, as well as an underlying File coin API that is based on the File coin account ID.

Challenges we ran into

Initially, bringing numerous wallet accounts to Token Marketplace as a unified platform presented some issues. Through Token Marketplace , we were able to integrate File coin, Ethereum, and Aurora wallets into the solution for the Hackathon. We linked OutSystems' low-code platform with the File coin environment to enable API-driven transactions. Initially, we encountered integration challenges, but we were able to integrate our application quickly.

User need not sign-up on multiple NFT platforms.

Single Page NFT interface – covers attributes of each NFT like date of minting, listing bid value, historical owners and associated bid and sell values. Personalization. Solution caters to interface customization and as well personalized recommendations.

Improved Search Capability Efficient search algorithms to use metadata and even natural language to search any NFT they want. The powerful search algorithms and sorting greatly improve the efficiency of information collection and enrich the presentation of search results.

What we learned

Building nextgen systems is always a challenge in itself, learning blockchain, cryptocurrency and build nextgen user experience was the most satisfying part of this learning journey. In short duration enhancing my skills in Account and wallets sdk/apis can helped to improve my understanding of underlying system in File coin network.

While build the systems by knowledge of File coin network features helped me for issuing NFTs on the File coin network more secure and much easier. In addition to building a feature rich system, File coin has immensely helped to the solution much faster, cheaper, and more energy-efficient than typical blockchain-based systems.

There any many features that I will further enhance the already enriched feature list. Listing few of them below:

Buy NFTs in Bulk with a Single Transaction. Flexible Comparative Analysis - On top of presenting the most comprehensive data, provide users with convenient data analysis tools. Users can easily compare the differences between various NFTs, such as market volume, number of holders, etc. Enhance usability and user-friendliness. Industry classification basically segmentation for easy experience. Explore how platform plays a pivotal role in increasing monetary incentives for creators.
