Inspiration

Everybody knows the feeling of stumbling upon a great bathroom, but why keep that to yourself? Share this journey of a lifetime with all your fellow students! You could always rate professors, but why stop there? Rate your toilets now with Toilet Times!

What it does

Create posts about toilets, rate toilets (favorite or flush), and rate posts about toilets.

How we built it

The server side was built with a beautiful mosaic of SQL, Python, AWS, and fruit snacks. The app was written in Android and our graphic designer generated assets using Illustrator. We relied on one outside library to help us with page indicators in the app.

Challenges we ran into

Drawers were a pain, and Tool bars too.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Creating something that can bring a community closer together. Everybody has to use the bathroom, and there aren't many (if any) toilet apps out there. Like everything else in your life, why not publicize your toilet uses with Toilet Times!

What we learned

Making things simpler can be a lot harder. Good design takes patience and a lot of forethought. Also testing on an emulator is draining

What's next for Toilet Times

Expand to different campuses, increase the amount of features on the app, and add more to the UI visually.
