Inspiration 🔮

Since the pandemic has affected all of our lives in some way or the other we asked ourselves, Is there a platform that can provide the NGO/Groups and Individuals, the access to donations and crowdfundings support from local communities and do it in the safest manner? Hence we came up with Together!!

What it does ⚙️

Together helps the user connect in a secure and effective manner to contribute to society. It provides users with a platform to connect with the people and communities around them to volunteer and donate for good cause. Together is also a platform that helps users restore their mental wellness by talking to people in society and discussing their problems with trusted counsellors. let’s not forget our custom wave NFT, which is an ERC-1155 contract only made for Together donors as a gift of appreciation for donating, which they can use to mint on the blockchain. Together brings a secured and self-rewarding method to the donation process for a better cause.

How we built it

First, we design the UI/UX of the application on Figma and set our goals for the app. After that, using Flutter environment we created a mobile application, reaching all our end goals and implementing the app in full. We used Firebase for user authentication and real-time messaging, and the NEWS-API for providing the users with verified news. And Finally, as for the blockchain, Together runs under a custom token called the TogetherToken (which is an ERC-20 Contract) valued at approximately 0.01 Eth per 12.83 tokens, which gets rewarded to people who donate to one of the causes listed on our platform.
