ToDo or Overdue!

Inspiration

I wanted a simple, clear task manager that instantly shows what's urgent and motivates progress. Existing tools felt too cluttered.

What it does

ToDo or Overdue! lets users:

• Add tasks with descriptions, due dates, and URL attachments.
• Visually prioritise tasks as "ToDo" or "Overdue!".
• Edit/complete tasks.
• Track progress with a progress bar.
• Customise the theme.

How I built it

Built with React using:

• Functional components & Hooks (useState).
• Conditional rendering for task status and editing.
• CSS for styling.
• Date objects for due date management.

Challenges I ran into

• Accurately determining overdue status (date-only comparison).
• Creating a responsive layout.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

• Simple, visually clear task management.
• Customisable themes.
• Motivating progress bar.

• Deeper understanding of React Hooks.
• Improved JavaScript Date handling.
