Cheery Charity's Donation Tracker

Inspiration

I was inspired by Cecilia's "Designing and Building an Accessible Website" workshop. I wanted to keep accessibility in mind when designing the page.

What it does

This app allows a charity organization to keep track of new and past donations.

How I built it

This app was build with Create React App.

Challenges I ran into

Really thinking about the colors, fonts and styling for accessibility. I was inspired by Happy Hues.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I ran a Wave accessibility test and got a 96!

What I learned

I hadn't worked much with React Modal in the past, and this gave me an opportunity to understand it better.

What's next for Cheery Charity's Donation Tracker

Things I want to add:

1. edit functionality for each entry
2. conditional logic to avoid duplicate entries
3. layout improvements
4. images / clipart
