Inspiration :
It was a random idea suggested by one of our teammates and everyone liked it.
What it does :
It shows the popular Events, Birth, and Death of influential people which happened on that day back in time.
How we built it :
We used HTML and Tailwind CSS to create the general layout and then used Javascript and this API by the Fetch API method.
Challenges we ran into :
- Making it responsive for devices.
- Fetching API
Accomplishments that we're proud of :
- We were able to complete it before the deadline
What we learned :
Time management, Teamwork, and collaboration. We also learned Git and Tailwind.
What's next for Today in History :
- Will add custom date feature
- Will also add a random good morning quote.
