The podcast market is terribly under-monetized, and podcasters are underpaid for their job. There are tons of YouTube / TikTok channels publishing cuts from famous people’s interviews or podcasts and earning millions of views on it (e.g., https://youtu.be/M-ZH3psUbfU https://youtu.be/jSdj2pTH1Zg )
Channels publishing these “clips” make up to 35% more extra views over original content. On the other hand, podcasts are naturally restricted to go global due to language barriers. But with multilingual subtitles content makers could reach up to 30% more subscribers.
It indicates that each podcast contains much more value than what is earned by publishing it as a single video/audio. But unfortunately, only a tiny fraction of podcasters make money and generarte visability from it. So it brings to the idea of developing a SaaS for the podcasters, which enables them to split the content into “clips”, equip them with multilingual subtitles and publish it on YouTube / TikTok, etc. This way, we make valuable content available on a much bigger and more financially attractive market of short videos.
