Inspiration

24% of all global deaths are linked to the environment. 3.8 million deaths every year occur as a result of exposure to indoor smoke from cooking fuels. 4.2 million deaths every year occur as a result of exposure to fine particulate matter. Studies shows pollution has been among us since last 2400 years. These figures alone are enough to show how fatal environment POLLUTION is and how negligent we are. Today we are ready to buy supplements for our body to keeps us healthy but we neglect how much damage we have done to environment and now it's doing the same to us.

What it does

We all have studied pollution or at least heard about it but still it's been there for centuries On Going Deep down the problem , major factors responsible are

Awareness If we want to check our health status we can go to hospital to get it done but what about environment. So we wanted to build something to tell people if their environment is safe or not.
Community One thing that we all can agree is that pollution is a global hazard and to deal with such global problems w e need global support and community. And that's what our application focus on.To build community, to start campaigns , drives, marathon etc. We all need motivation , time to time to get work done and community helps us in that. ## How we built it We created a react application using Html, Css, Bootstrap for the front end and javascript for backend. We used firebase realtime Database as database.We also took help of Mapbox api for integrating map and geolocation api's for getting pollution details and other details about the pollutants and location(latitude/longitude) ## Challenges we ran into This was out first react application and we haven't worked with web before So it was fun and challenging to learn new technology. Second challenge was to bring our idea to reality in such a short period of time though it needs more work. ## Accomplishments that we're proud of WE proud that we made out first react application and it turned out better than we expected. We proud that we could bring our idea to reality even tho it needs more scope of improvement in future. ## What we learned WE learned react and whole bunch new web technologies.We learned team work and communication. we learned time management and stress management. ## What's next for To-Gather We want to make it more responsive and add more feature ,while upgrading current features.
