Inspiration
Time management has always been a struggle for not only us but also other students. This website was designed to motivate students to overcome such struggles and bring forth creativity and productivity.
What it does
This website uses doodling as a motivator for finishing work. When a student completes a task, they are able to flip over a square of the artwork and draw in it. If a student does not have enough tasks to complete the artwork, they are motivated to do other work like household chores in order to finish the doodling.
How we built it
We built this using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Some of the code is in Visual Studio Code, meaning it is not currently accessible to outsiders, only on the creator's local files. The rest of the code is on repl.it, which is available to the public under an account name. Downloads of all the code are in a Github repository, which is linked below.
Challenges we ran into
We ran into many challenges regarding the images and the canvas drawing tools.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We're proud of being able to have a functioning website that raises students' motivation levels.
What we learned
We learned how to create drawing tools through HTML and JavaScript in order to create the website.
What's next for To-Doodle
We hope to work more on this website in order to make it accessible to students all over the world. #WorldDomination
