To-Do List

Inspiration

Our inspiration for this project was based on a to-do list. We wanted an easy way to view and edit tasks that needed to be done.

What it does

Our site lets users input a task they need to do and it will show up in a list. They can edit and delete tasks as needed. There is also a timer functionality so users may time themselves on tasks to make sure they are staying on track.

How we built it

We built our site using HTML, CSS, and Javascript.

Challenges we ran into

Some challenges we ran into were trying to add a timetable so users may specify at what time they'd like to complete their task and for how long.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

As two people who barely knew anything about web development, both of us learned a lot through working on this project.

What we learned

Keeping it simple is important. Trying to implement too much can end up with having nothing to show in the end, so we made sure that what we chose to do was manageable for us to complete in 24 hours.

What's next for To-Do List

We will continue to try to implement the timetable into our site as I believe that would visually help users see what needs to be done. We also want users to be able to add a description to their tasks for more detail and possibly include a tagging system to categorize their tasks.
