Inspiration
For a student, sometimes it is really hard to find the correct resources for education and paying every time is not a solution so something need to be done for that . Also, There are times that teachers and educators specially from a non development background find it really difficult to articulate themselves and publish there great content over a platform, so something need to done for them too. The bottom line is that a need of free, easily accessible and multi domain education platform is the motive for this project
What it does
It provides everybody a platform to share and learn about different educational resources without asking them for a single penny and not even logins. Everybody irrespective of their financial, social or demographic boundaries could access the educational resources for free of cost. Not only this, Teachers and educators are free to share educational resources for everybody with/without login access without need of creating and developing the websites, writing blogs or anything. Communities of students, teachers and educators could cross verify the content being uploaded and could report issues too.
How I built it
I used WordPress along with other services to make the website. There is lot of educational content over internet generated by me that includes physics, engineering, laboratory study material and other things. Also, it is an ever growing project because it focuses on developing a community of everybody interested in learning new things.
Challenges we ran into
There had such time when most of things seems complicated and other time there is a shortage of resources, but as a project that focuses on building a community, it became a potential growth model which was deployed successfully on later time. The another challenge I faced is one of my personal and that was lost of internet connection which made the time span even more shorter for me but at last I was able to catch up everything
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Building a website where everyone could get and share free education is the thing that I am proud of. It would end many barriers such as money availability, lack of technical knowledge and other things.
What we learned
I learnt a lot about the power of WordPress, SSL certificates and also explored different tools related to website building.
What's next for TMA
TMA would continue to be an open source platform for sharing and gaining education and we would love to get teachers, educators and contributors to promote their educational projects, videos and also share them with everybody. TMA hope to be one of the platform where everybody could get education for free, promote their education projects for free and make this world better by power of education. Not only this, once achieving monetization/sponsorships TMA would love to gift its contributor a vote of thanks in form of cash/ rewards.
