TixMix

Inspiration

We were inspired by Instagram pages like @albumreceipts that take your favorite album and display it as a receipt with the tracks from the album and how long each track is. We saw how everyone enjoyed having a cool visual representation of an album, so we decided that we should find an innovative way to display an Artist's top tracks, which is what we did with TixMix.

What it does

TixMix has the user input an artist's name and then gets the artist's tracks from iTunes. It displays the album image, the artist name, the track name, and the album name, but it shows all of this information as part of a ticket roll with each ticket representing a different track.

How we built it

We used Bubble and the iTunes API to retrieve the information and create the website. We handmade the ticket outline.

What we learned

We learned how to use Bubble. We also were unfamiliar with what an API is and how it could be used for personal projects, so we learned how to use an API.
