TIWI – AI for Industrial Operations

Inspiration

Industrial facilities generate massive amounts of data through cameras, sensors, and enterprise systems, but most of it is never transformed into actionable intelligence. Operators still spend valuable time reviewing footage, validating events, and making repetitive decisions. We built TIWI to bridge that gap by enabling AI to become an active operational partner rather than just an analytics tool.

What we built

TIWI is an AI-native operational intelligence platform that orchestrates specialized AI agents. These agents analyze visual and sensor data, validate each other's conclusions, and generate reliable, auditable decisions in real time.

The platform integrates with industrial cameras, IoT devices, and existing business systems to automate tasks such as traceability, quality inspection, safety monitoring, and operational reporting.

How we built it

We designed TIWI around a multi-agent architecture where each agent has a specialized responsibility. Computer vision models extract structured information from images, language models reason about the context, and orchestration agents coordinate workflows, validate outputs, and trigger actions.

The system is designed to operate both in cloud environments and at the edge, allowing deployment across manufacturing, mining, logistics, and energy operations.

Challenges

One of the biggest challenges was achieving reliable results in complex industrial environments. Lighting conditions, dirt, vibrations, and changing operational contexts require more than accurate AI models—they require robust validation mechanisms.

Another challenge was building trust. Industrial customers need explanations and auditability, so every decision produced by TIWI includes evidence and traceability instead of acting as a black box.

What we learned

We learned that successful industrial AI is not only about model accuracy. The real value comes from combining multiple AI capabilities, validating information across different sources, and integrating seamlessly into existing operational workflows.

Our vision is to make AI a trusted operational layer that helps industries make faster, safer, and more reliable decisions.
