Inspiration

Conventional pharmacotherapy relies heavily on rigid, fixed dosage strengths (e.g., 250 mg, 500 mg, 1000 mg), which force clinicians and patients to split tablets for non-standard dosesspan_1span_1. Pill splitting leads to unequal Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) distribution and hazardous dosing inaccuraciesspan_2span_2. Inspired by the need for true personalized medicine, "Hriddho 02" was conceptualized to establish a continuous, milligram-level incremental product continuumspan_3span_3.

What it does

Developed by researcher MD. Abu Hujaif (Alexy Layho), "Hriddho 02" introduces a Universal Micro-to-Macro Quantum Dosing & Product Identification Frameworkspan_4span_4. Key features include:

  • Every active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) is formulated as an independent, standalone product for every single milligram increment (1 mg, 2 mg, 3 mg, ... n mg)span_5span_5.
  • Completely eliminates physical tablet splitting, ensuring precise unit dosing and active ingredient integrityspan_6span_6.
  • Enables personalized therapy calibrated exactly to individual patient physiological metrics like BMI, renal clearance, and hepatic efficiencyspan_7span_7.
  • Protects metabolic pathways from saturation, preventing hepatotoxicity and toxic metabolite accumulation (e.g., NAPQI in Paracetamol models)span_8span_8.

How we built it

The framework was formulated through rigorous biochemical modeling and pharmacological analysis at the University of Science and Technology, Chittagong (USTC)span_9span_9. Using Paracetamol (Acetaminophen) as a clinical model, the project categorizes dosing into Micro-Range (1–50 mg), Mid-Range (100–400 mg), and Macro-Range (500–1000 mg) matrices tailored for distinct target patient profilesspan_10span_10.

Challenges we faced

Addressing the logistical and pharmaceutical manufacturing considerations for continuous linear scaling, as well as establishing universal product identification protocols for milligram-level standalone formulations across diverse drug classesspan_11span_11.

What's next for Hriddho 02

Expanding the theoretical dosing matrix to oncology and cardiovascular therapeutics, conducting clinical simulations for micro-dosing precision, and partnering with pharmaceutical manufacturers for pilot formulation trialsspan_12span_12.
