Inspiration

Global aquatic resources are facing severe threats from over-exploitation, pollution, and unorganized culture practices. Recognizing the importance of water bodies for food security and the blue economy, we were inspired to design an integrated technological infrastructure—"Black Tech 01"—to revolutionize aquatic resource management, production, and marine conservation.

What it does

"Black Tech 01" is a comprehensive aquatic resource ecosystem designed for sustainable production and ecosystem protection. Key features include:

• Floating Factories: Located on rivers, seas, and oceans to produce eco-friendly fish feed, probiotics, and medicine while purifying water and recycling waste.
• Floating & Aerial Factories: Hybrid factories capable of floating on water and flying to ensure rapid disaster response and resource relocation.
• Submarine Factories: Underwater operations for deep-sea fish breeding, larva production, and controlled hybridization.
• Integrated Resource Management: Leasing and excavating water bodies for intensive aquaculture, water quality monitoring via sensors, and zero-pollution waste management.

How we built it

The framework was developed through extensive research in biochemistry, biotechnology, and marine systems. It combines multi-tier factory designs (floating, aerial, submarine) with sustainable breeding, feed generation, and environmental policy standards to create a single management system for aquatic resources.

Challenges we faced

• Designing viable engineering concepts for hybrid aerial-floating and underwater factories.
• Navigating complex international maritime laws, environmental regulations, and global political coordination for water body leasing.

What's next for "Black Tech 01"

• Refining technological designs for floating and submarine factory prototypes.
• Seeking academic and industrial collaborations to test fish feed/medicine formulas and Sensor-based water monitoring systems.
