Inspiration

It happened in Washington DC, where a federal designation (Title 1) describes youth students from low income neighborhoods. Please see IMAGES #9-11 from above slideshow.

What it does

Equalises the job market by providing qualified applicants to employers based purely on their qualifications without any personal information. Therefore optimising the process through efficiency and removal of bias and racism.

Applicants access job opportunities without bias.

Certifiers save time and free up non-value added tasks.

Employers streamline the recruiting process based on the best fit amongst a pool of candidates.

Our first smart contract works!

What we learned

Assign roles, responsibilities and expectations early on. Project Management is key. Anticipate an all nighter :) Build the vision first - write it down immediately. This will be iterated so it's good to know you started. Create a process for the hackathon period, know that a set brainstorm needs to happen. Maybe more than one HBCU network is our first campaign
