Broken glasses stay broken. The problem isn't the repair—it's finding reliable suppliers for the parts. That network doesn't exist.

What it does

We connect eyeglass craftsmen to verified suppliers—locally and globally

How we built it

Web app using Next.js and CopilotKit simulates design-to-manufacture flow: AI-guided chat, jsPDF specs, S3 assets, polished UI with Shadcn/Tailwind, quotes comparison, selection, and Amplify deployment for reliability

Challenges we ran into

1. Cross-platform integration issues required multiple troubleshooting iterations
2. Coordinating timelines and delivering a complete solution took longer than anticipated
3. Disagreements in terms of what tools to use

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Discovering our AI Agent could transform eyeglass sourcing from a complex, costly process into something remarkably simple, fast, and affordable through the crowdsourcing process

What we learned

We learned the API of using Semgrep and Vantra
