Inspiration
We were intrigued by the concept of teaching children the concept of banking and hence came up with the Idea of Tiny Bank. We have kept the process extremely child friendly in the hope that they might get introduced to banking concepts which might later them build a logical sense towards the banking system.
What it does
The app gives children access to a limited amount of funds that may be spent by them. The amount is decided by their parents. The children get to spend this amount, and the records of their transaction is held in a log for parents to cross check.
How we built it
We decided to use Django and Mysql, since they form a scaleable combination
Challenges we ran into
Integration of PayPal API proved very challenging.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The app has very user friendly feel.
