Inspiration
Tiny Fortress is inspired by childhood toy battles: wooden blocks, Jenga towers, toy soldiers, tabletop forts, and the feeling of building something and seeing if it survives.
What it does
Tiny Fortress is a mobile tower defense where players build a small toy fortress with blocks and towers, then defend its Core against waves of enemy toys.
How we built it
We focused the design around a simple loop: build, defend, earn coins, improve the fortress and repeat.
Challenges we ran into
The biggest challenge was to make sure the game felt strategic, not chaotic or overly sandbox-like.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We designed a clear identity: a physics-based toy fortress TD that feels different from traditional lane-based tower defense games. The build/defend loop is easy to understand and visually strong.
What's next for Tiny Fortress
Next steps would be prototyping the building controls, testing the first 3-wave level, expanding enemy types, adding more areas, and eventually exploring competitive or shared fortress challenges.
