Inspiration
Small teams often need a focused tool for notes, planning, or shared work, but building a separate application for every workflow takes time. Tinkerloom explores a reusable platform where a small app can be described as data and rendered by a shared client.
What it does
Tinkerloom provides a Flutter interface for exploring templates, editing pages and fields in a visual builder, previewing changes in isolation, and explicitly publishing a mini-app. Published apps can hold records and be shared using invitations and roles. The client also includes device integrations and private image-attachment flows.
How we built it
Flutter powers the web and mobile client. Shared declarative specification and renderer packages describe and display app experiences. Appwrite Account and authenticated Functions provide the development backend, where access checks, revisions, and command receipts protect app and record operations. Definitions are interpreted as data; model-generated executable code is not run.
The repository includes an in-memory preview and offline test suite. A bounded development-service check saved and reloaded one synthetic Notes record. Web, Android, and unsigned iOS builds have compiled; native-device behavior has not yet been established by those builds.
AI and current status
The code contains a server-side chat-completions adapter and Nemotron-related prompt and validation code. The repository also documents synthetic Nemotron experiments conducted in the earlier AppNest project. Those experiments do not prove that Tinkerloom has run a model on Nebius. Tinkerloom's development deployment does not yet have a configured AI provider, and a qualifying NVIDIA-model workflow on Nebius remains to be implemented and verified for this entry.
The repository is MIT-licensed. A public demo video and judge-accessible demo or test build are still needed. The project builds on prior AppNest work; the Flutter/Appwrite client and backend use fresh development data.
