Inspiration

We struggled finding common hours that we could work together due to the different time zones.

What it does

It calculates the overlapping hours in different time ranges and different time zones and prints out the common hours in UTC. The user can also convert the common hours in his preferred time zone.

How we built it

It's a desktop app made in Java. We used JavaFx for the graphical interface and Java for the backend class that makes the calculations.

Challenges we ran into

We faced time management issues.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were able to communicate well with each other and divide equally the tasks of building the project. Now we can easily find out free time slots of all fellows which is comfortable for all to work together .

What we learned

We learned how to work with java and JavaFX . we also learned about how to manage GitHub repository with teams and most important was team work . we learned how to manage work in teams and time management

What's next for Timly

Create a version with the same functionality that runs on the web.
