Inspiration

As a young parent of two children, time often feels like it’s slipping away. It can be very frustrating when, at the end of the day, you don’t know how you spent your time. You’re no longer in control of it.

Time is our most precious resource — and we’re all equal when it comes to time: one second is the same for everyone (don't try to mention relativity, it does not apply to you). The goal of this app is to help people regain control over how they spend their time. Become the master of your time!

What it does

Balazman empowers you to:

  1. Track every activity throughout your day
  2. Get a clear synthesis of any time range you choose
  3. Access and export all your timelogs

Only then can you truly take back control over your time.

How I built it

I built Balazman using Bolt.new. I ran into many technical challenges — from icons not displaying correctly to the app crashing on launch. I worked with Claude Opus to analyze the code, which helped me fix all the bugs.

Challenges I ran into

Debugging UI inconsistencies, ensuring smooth performance across platforms, and making sure the app remained intuitive while powerful were real challenges — especially under the time pressure of the hackathon and with two toddlers climbing on me 😅.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I’m very proud to present you with a functional app that can literally change your life. From idea to shipping, in just a few days.

What's next

Balazman TimeTracker will soon be available on the App Store for just 13 cents a day (3,99€/month)!
