Timeline AI Chatbot

Inspiration

At school, my partner and I struggle to keep our assignments and work in order and we thought it was a good idea to build an AI tool that would help us stay on top of everything.

What it does

You chat with the chatbot, give it information and it puts all of your homework into a list, sorted by date, and helps you organize it. It also gives you tips on how to complete it, like what order to do the work.

How we built it

We used Scratch.

Challenges we ran into

We wanted it to be able to save data, but it was difficult to understand, so we had to give that up for this hackathon.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were very proud to build the parts to send the messages back and forth between sprites and backgrounds to make it work the right way. There were about 14 messages in total, just for 3 questions!

What we learned

There were many coding tricks we learned and incorporated. Instead of two people working on one code, one of us brainstormed on ideas while the other coded with the thoughts simultaneously . We learned how to put all information /codes under one block. What a block is for, how to make different lists and then input various information to the list. We also learned how to use the time block using Scratch to indicate morning, afternoon, or evening.

What's next for Timeline AI Chatbot

We want to keep working on it to finish it, like the save data functionality. We only have completed some of the core features.
