Congestion always occurs in the holiday. The alternative routes even cost one more hour than the tunnel in congestion. People often ask when the traffic isn't jam.

We develop a travel demand management system. People can query the travel time of specific OD and start-time. People can get an alert before going into the traffic jam

We apply linear regression for velocity prediction and apply logistic regression for congestion probability prediction. We implement congestion alerting feature on Spark framework and the latency is less than 20 seconds. These help people to get rid of traffic jam.

In the future, we will continue look for new factor to improve the accuracy of prediction.
