Inspiration I just graduated from 10th grade and can finally drop history! History was so painful, but I don't think that should be the case, people should learn because they want to. History goes hand in hand with sustainability, you learn from the mistakes of the past to make the future more sustainable. UN sustainable development goal 4- QUALITY EDUCATION, practically anyone with a device and access to the internet can interest themselves in subjects like history and other accurate information.
What it does
You enter details of the time and place and the person you want to talk to. You ask any question and the website allows you to talk with someone from the past who answers your question from their own point of view. It is accurate information you get from any person's point of view.
How we built it
I used many AI packages to construct this website. We used replicate that generates proper information to generate images and accurate data, and then the program takes all the data and feeds it to the D-ID AI integrated into the Python program.
Challenges we ran into
These AI tools are very hard to integrate into the program and very difficult to come across, they require many API I keys and so many hours dedicated to researching those AI tools and seeing how they work. Furthermore integrating all the different parts of the program and making it work together is very difficult
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I am especially proud of being able to accomplish a totally new idea and able to use tools not used very frequently.
