Time to Save Our Planet

The world if we don't take the time to help the planet.

Inspiration

We wanted to create an interactive platform that teaches young children about the dangers to our environment and the solutions to these dangers. All it takes is simple daily acts of care toward our environment to make a huge impact.

What it does

The website educates in a fun and interesting way. There are facts about the state of our environment and games recycling and green living.

How we built it

We built it using p5.js and Java.

Challenges we ran into

A difficulty we faced was combining the many facets of our code into one cohesive program.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are pleased with our program because we believe it could truly inspire children to take action and be the generation that turns global warming around.

What we learned

We learned how to engage others on political and global issues in a fun way. We also learned many new things about website development, as we had to teach ourselves many things on the spot and be creative with our code.
