Time to leave

Inspiration

Well, I see everyone struggling when they want to find out when the Buses or Trains are arriving nearby, Especially me for example, since I always am going everywhere.

What it does

What it does is that it uses IFTTT and MTA Bus API, and Adafruit IO To give you the buses that are around you and to show you when they are arriving and What time you need to Get there.

How I built it

I built it using Neopixels to make 2 seven segment displays, and using acrylic glass, using an esp8266, and by placing those together I was able to display it and show the time.

Challenges I ran into

There were many challenges that I ran into for example grabbing the data from Adafruit IO and sending it to the microcontroller to display the time of the buses.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I got the code working to have it collect the data and to display time, but It's not completed yet as in design and in making its full work.

What I learned

I learned very difficult Arduino syntax.

What's next for Time to leave

Making this project to be fully working and expand it by using MTA subway and Etc.
