I'm really new to web development, and this was something I tried. So it works but I really wanted to do many improvements lol, however I ran out of time.
Inspiration
I got the inspiration from the word "DISCO", and how it ends with "CO" haha. I thought I can use this thing to have an amazing domain name as well as I can build something cool related to disco.
What it does
It's a website, you go there, and hit play. Then it'll play a song, and you can vibe on it using the buttons for directions.
How I built it
I built it using basic HTML5, CSS and JavaScript. I used GitHub pages to host it and connected it with the custom domain www.time-to-dis.co
Challenges I ran into
Although I had a bit of idea of HTML, I never really integrated anything related to JavaScript in it. So it was a bit new for me to get along.
Accomplishments that I am proud of
I'm proud that I made something presentable. Also, I'm really happy and proud of my selection for custom domain name 😁.
What I learned
I learned how to connect GitHub pages with custom domain, I also learned a bit of JavaScript, which will help me in future for sure.
What's next for Time To Disco
I wish to add more features that a dance Revolution game machine has. I want to add scoring system based on speed and accuracy. Also, I want to make the website look not-so-raw and more beautiful.
