Inspiration
Historical Event is the event that we can see the past, now, and future history so we can know that journey while we are in that event. I get an inspiration about how I can make a memorize about the event history by make a simple website built by HTML, CSS, JS, and Wikimedia API. With the help of this website, I hope it can bring the memorize of the historical event without needy to worry to get nothing about the event history.
What it does
Time Tales⌚ is a website to memorize about the historical event from time to time by selecting the date, month, and year for the historical journey so user can learn the history of the world by reading and learn from there. This project is built by me alone as a Web Developer with grade 10.
How we built it
Tech Stacks:
- HTML
- CSS
- JS
- [Wikimedia API](https://api.wikimedia.org/wiki/Main_Page).
Challenges we ran into
1.) API Integration When I make an integration using wikimedia API, I almost fail to get the current date based on the selected date as the user want to see the historical event. But after I read the docs about how to get it, I feel like it's really challenges for me at the first time to solve it but yet it is done as what I want.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Time Tales is using the website hosting with vercel so everyone can see my project easily in the production mode😎
What we learned
I learn many things from development to production that this TimeTales can help the user to know the history ages of the world and what's happening at that event by select the date, month, and year that you want to see the event and it have a simple UI/UX design.
What's next for Time Tales⌚
Time Tales still need more features that we can implement more like as add the chatbot AI for more interactive conversation with the help of AI curated on the historical event, add the ability to switch the theme from dark to light mode, and many more will come soon. Feel free to PR this project to collaborate with me. #WithoutYouIamNothing🙏
