Inspiration
In a world where everything comes with a price, Have you ever wondered how some of the most amazing online services like social - media are free of cost? what's the other side of this coin? Spoiler Alert !! it's not free. We pay for these services with our time and attention.
What it does
Having an accountability partner is useful. Knowing that someone is watching can be a powerful motivator. Focusing on this as our virtue, we developed an application which connects a users with his/her peers and helps in increasing productivity by regulating the user’s screen time which is managed the his/her peers.
How we built it
Since we didn't want anyone else to miss our amazing app, we chose flutter for the development. Firebase helped us to manage the data and keep it safe and also we made use of OneSignal to keep the users updated about their peer's activity.
Challenges we ran into
Finding ways to compute app usage and alert the users using notifications were harder than thought. Flutter was also new to all of us so learning the framework and implementing the functionalities in 2 days was not easy.
Accomplishments that we are proud of
Managed to help someone to overcome their addiction and focus more on other important aspects of life.
