I want to find a partner who shares the same understanding of love and understands that truly loving someone is very difficult.
This feature will be unlocked after users complete Section 2 of the course, which takes approximately 15 days. This helps filter for people who are serious about learning and building a meaningful relationship.
The main goal of this feature is to help two people move from an online match to an in-person meeting as early as possible, instead of spending weeks sending messages without truly knowing each other.
During the initial getting-to-know-you stage, chat will be intentionally limited. Instead of allowing unrestricted messaging, TimBay will provide a set of suggested messages that users can choose from. This reduces superficial or repetitive conversations and guides both people toward arranging a real-life meeting.
TimBay will then suggest available date times at partner cafés, providing a public and structured place for the first meeting.
Thirty minutes before the scheduled date, normal one-on-one messaging will be unlocked so that both users can coordinate their arrival.
When a user arrives at the café, they can open the chat feature and scan the café’s QR code. This check-in lets their match and TimBay know that they have arrived at the meeting location.
The purpose is not to keep users chatting inside the app. It is to help them meet in real life as soon as possible and discover whether they genuinely connect.
