TikTok AI Chatbot is an AI-powered Chatbot designed for both TikTok users and creators. It helps users discover trending content while giving creators script ideas, upload guidance, and growth tools.

Inspiration

TikTok has become the go-to platform for creators and audiences, but navigating trends, writing engaging scripts, and keeping up with the algorithm can be overwhelming. We wanted to create a chatbot that makes TikTok easier and more enjoyable by combining AI with a creator-first experience. Also, we want to help users to help navigate through the various content seamlessly and in an unbiased way to get exactly what they want.

What it does

TikTok AI Assistant is an AI-powered chatbot tailored for both TikTok users and content creators.

  • Creators get AI-generated script ideas, captions, and step-by-step posting guidance.
  • Everyone enjoys a sleek, TikTok-inspired chat interface that feels familiar and fun.

How we built it

We built the frontend using React for a modern, clean, and TikTok-like interface. The backend runs on Node.js, powered by the Bart-Large-Sized-Model for natural, context-aware conversations. The design system uses vibrant gradients and glassmorphism to match TikTok’s aesthetic while keeping usability high.

Challenges we ran into

  • Designing an interface that feels fresh and TikTok-native without clutter.
  • Making the chatbot context-aware so it adapts differently for creators vs. users.
  • Balancing AI creativity with practical guidance (e.g., ensuring scripts and captions are usable, not just flashy).

Accomplishments that we're proud of

  • Building a polished prototype with both creator and user flows.
  • Designing an AI chat interface that feels modern and engaging.
  • Integrating trending-content suggestions alongside creation tools in one seamless experience.

What we learned

  • How to align UI/UX design closely with an existing platform’s culture (TikTok’s fast, vibrant style).
  • How to use AI to balance entertainment and utility for different user types.
  • The importance of clear, simple guidance when creators need quick, actionable help.

What's next for TikTok AI Assistant

  • User authentication & profiles for personalized, persistent experiences.
  • Mobile app version to bring the assistant directly into creators’ workflows.
  • Multi-language support to reach global TikTok communities.

Note: At the time of submission the Hugging Face API is facing an internal server error. Prior to that our code was working well for the Creators API Chatbot. We have included the working screenshots of the api calls as proof of functionality.
