I was inspired to make Tiki Inferno by seeing our new Spooky MHCP assets. I start with a blank canvas and let my ''paint brushes'' guide the way. I wanted the World to have a high quality look, feel and sound.

Tiki Inferno is a Jump World style game. You jump your way across swinging, moving obstacles to make it to the finish line. There are a plethora of Quests to complete once you finish the game. I've even added a few that may "surprise" the players in the best way possible.

Tiki Inferno was a solo creation. I couldn't of built it without codeblocks and the ability to import from Blender. The spooky assets were key in my design. The Lava is a Terrain shape from Blender that I colored to have an appearance of Lava. The visual effects really brought the fire and heat to life.

My biggest difficulties were learning how to create and export from Blender and scripting a leaderboard and quests. I overcame it all by spending all of my time reading and or watching tutorial videos on YouTube. Then going into Blender and the Quest and implementing what I learned until it was right.

I'm most proud of the fact that I learned what felt impossible at first, Blender. I am also proud that the goals I set for the world build each day were completed. I also created from scratch the theme song "Tiki Inferno" which you hear while going through the world. I'm a music creator as well.

What I've learned in this process is that with a will and passion to learn and putting all your time and energy into it, that you can accomplish more than you think is even possible. I am thankful and excited for what the future holds.

I would love to add a timer and have contests on who can get across the Inferno the fastest. Also for the contests I would add a few surprise obstacles to spice it up a bit. I would also want to add a UI for lives and timer. Then I'd want to make an entire Jump World series like this one. I see this idea going big and inspiring other creators.
