Inspiration

Amidst the chaos of multiple Clemson service apps cluttering the digital landscape, a clear need emerges for streamlining and enhancing accessibility. By consolidating these services into a single, intuitive interface, we aim to optimize efficiency and ensure broader reach among students.

What it does

Our project is designed to bridge the gap between students and the wealth of resources Clemson University offers. It catalyzes connecting students with valuable services they may be unaware of, ultimately enriching their academic journey. It combines all Clemson apps into one central hub, while also providing information on the many benefits and licenses that students have access to. Examples include: -Tigerflix -Grammarly -Grubhub+ -Adobe CC -Transloc -CU VPN -Clemson CORE -Tech Lending from the Library -Immersive Space -CU Play -Tiger Quest -and many more...

How we built it

We crafted this solution through meticulous planning and collaboration. Leveraging cutting-edge technologies and strategic development methodologies, we engineered a seamless user experience to empower students.

Challenges we ran into

Throughout the development process, we encountered various obstacles, from technical hurdles to logistical complexities. However, our team remained resilient, overcoming each challenge with determination and innovation.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

One of our standout achievements is the successful implementation of Amazon's Elastic Kubernetes Service, enabling us to realize a functional prototype. This accomplishment underscores our commitment to leveraging advanced infrastructure to deliver tangible results.

What we learned

Our journey with AWS has been enlightening, revealing many powerful tools. We've learned the importance of aligning these tools with our project objectives, ensuring optimal workflow and efficiency.

What's next for Tiger Hub

Looking ahead, we envision further evolution of Tiger Hub into a dynamic mobile application. Our ultimate goal is to ease access to Clemson's services, empowering all students to benefit from this platform free of charge, thereby eliminating missed opportunities and fostering a more connected campus community.
