Inspiration

I was inspired to make this based on my previous difficulty dividing chores between roommates and monitoring whose turn it was to buy more supplies such as toilet paper or dish soap. Our household group chat frequently asked: "whose dishes are in the sink and can someone clean them?" or "hey I've been waiting to dry my clothes for 3 hours... someone come get their stuff." This created a negative atmosphere when people did not want to take responsibility for chores.

What it does

This iOS app prototype is a one-stop solution for keeping a shared house or apartment tidy. Delegate chores to roommates and monitor household supply usage, so you'll never run out of toilet paper!

How we built it

I designed this iOS app prototype using Sketch, and design tools such as Canva, FontPair, Coolors, and MindMeister.

What we learned

I learned how to use Sketch to create a high-fidelity mobile prototype. This was my first time working with Sketch so I spent a lot of time learning how to use different features in the software.
