Inspiration
We got inspiration from a pet fish who passed away and a prompt in English class.
What it does
You protect your underwater village, clean the ocean floor and upgrade your defenses and weapons to keep your community safe from threats.
How we built it
We made a plan in Java, and then had Ai have it translate into JS and add details we weren't sure how to do.
Challenges we ran into
Making it run smoothly because the animations would sometimes glitch and show up later, when it wouldn't make sense. We also had a problem with the coding of it because the JS wasn't something we could read so we had a lot of prompts to Ai to get it perfect.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The animation of it because it was hard to read a lot of it because of the JS. Another thing is that it would glitch, which would mess up the scores of the rounds. We are also proud of the battle log because of how fast it is.
What we learned
We learned about making cool graphics and how to be really specific in order to have the Ai change the thing we want it to change, especially when bugs happened in only some rounds.
What's next for Tidal Guardian
We will add more rounds and more power-ups. We would also add more info about how people can help change the oceans in our world.
