Inspiration

Often times, you find yourself longing to play a game of TicTacToe with a friend. But for that, you need to find and grab a piece of paper and a pencil -- AND someone to play with -- but not anymore!

What it does

With TicTacToe 2022, you can play TicTacToe on your device by yourself against an AI. This 1-player game boasts improved scoring systems while preserving the fun of the original Tic Tac Toe game.

How we built it

I programmed this game with Swift on Xcode, Apple's integrated developing environment.

Challenges we ran into

Challenges faced along the way were needing to know enough of Swift to be able to transform ideas to code. But these issues were resolved with further research into Swift APIs.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Over the course of this hackathon, I enjoyed learning more about Swift while making a delightful game for everyone!

What's next for TicTacToe

TicTacToe will have additional features, such as background music. Moreover, upcoming versions will be equipped with more playing options and an improved AI.
