Inspiration

when the client raised a ticket in the Freshdesk, it is very difficult to check mail every time to get updates for an agent, so I developed an app which gives updates in various platforms like chat apps or social media channels

What it does

The main goal of this app is to get instant ticket updates for both parties & they will be alert for these types of tickets & get instant replies or further updates quickly.

This communication is already happening in mails but most of them are very active in chat apps, social media these days.

so it will be very easy to catch when the person is in their miscellaneous timings.

How we built it

As per now, We built using javascript by integrating Freshdesk with one of the chat applications called telegram.

Challenges we ran into

When developing this integration between telegram & Freshdesk. I got many challenges in that one challenge is very painful to understand but later Freshworks team helped me out very well. The challenge is with this new development called FDK's where we cannot use the npm packages directly by installing them, we need to use this mention manifest.json file.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I was very proud to complete this app by facing various challenges and solved them by working closely with the Freshworks team.

What we learned

I learned how to develop apps in the Freshdesk portal, Therefore in the future whenever I will be having time looking forward to developing various apps to help the Freshworks get connected with the various customers through this platform to grow

What's next for TicketUpdates

We successfully integrated with a telegram, if this idea went well. we will be going to integrate with WhatsApp, Twitter, etc
