Inspiration
This Tic Tac Toe game was inspired by the classic game we all know and love. We wanted to create a clean, modern, and engaging version that could be played easily on any device.
What it does
This Tic Tac Toe game allows you to challenge a friend or test your memory against the computer. You can choose between playing with Xs and Os or getting creative with fun fruit images (if the game allows customization). The game keeps track of wins, losses, and ties, adding a competitive element.
How we built it
We used HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to bring this Tic Tac Toe game to life. HTML provided the basic structure of the game board and buttons. CSS styled the elements, giving the game its clean and modern look. Finally, JavaScript handled the core game logic, including player turns, win conditions, and scorekeeping.
Challenges we ran into
One challenge was ensuring the game functioned smoothly across different screen sizes and devices. We also had to consider how to make the AI opponent (if included) provide a fair and engaging challenge.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We're proud of creating a Tic Tac Toe game that is both visually appealing and easy to use. The game logic is clear and well-organized, making it a great project for learning about web development fundamentals.
What we learned
This project helped us improve our skills in working with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. We also learned valuable problem-solving techniques when it came to implementing the game mechanics and AI logic (if applicable).
What's next for Tic-Tac-Toe
Here are some ideas for future improvements:
Multiplayer Mode: Implement online multiplayer functionality to play against friends or random opponents. Difficulty Levels: Introduce different difficulty levels for the AI opponent, catering to players of all skill sets. Customization Options: Allow players to personalize the game with different themes, board styles, and sound effects. Expand the Game: Explore variations of Tic Tac Toe, like Gomoku (Five in a Row) or Connect Four.
