Inspiration
The TI System project was inspired by the need for a more efficient and effective way to, PEER-TO-PEER RIDE SHARING, SCHEDULE, RENT A PERSONAL CAR OPTION, . CROSS-COUNTRY PUBLIC TRANSPORT HUB (manage transportation by booking online, find information on buses going to your destination...). In fact we sought to create a solution that would make it easier for people to find, book, rent and pay for transportation, while also providing real-time information on schedules and delays.
What it does
The TI System is a system that provides the following functions: -PEER-TO-PEER RIDE SHARING:
- CROSS-COUNTRY PUBLIC TRANSPORT HUB -RENT MY CAR OPTION
- Schedule and manage transportation
- Real-time information on schedules and delays
- Book and pay for transportation
- Track vehicle location
- View route information
- Receive notifications of important updates
- Rate and review vehicles and drivers
- Report issues and feedback to the provider All of these functions are designed to make it easier and more convenient for users to plan, schedule, and manage their transportation. ## How we built it The TI System was built using a combination of technologies and tools. We used Node.js, Express.js, React, React Native, and Google Maps API. We also used the MongoDB database and the Twilio API for messaging and notifications. We leveraged the power of these technologies to create a user-friendly and scalable system that can handle large volumes of data and transactions ## Challenges we ran into Indeed, the most difficult challenge we faced was the short time frame we had to complete the project. This put pressure on the team to work quickly and efficiently, and we had to make difficult decisions about what features to prioritize and what features to cut. We also had to balance the need to complete the project on time with the need to ensure that it was well-built and reliable. In the end, we were able to deliver a solid foundation for the system, but there is still more work to be done to complete it. ## Accomplishments that we're proud of While we were able to accomplish a lot, there is still a lot of work to be done to finish the project and make it fully functional. However, the foundation we built is very solid and provides a good starting point for future development. We're confident that we can build on this foundation to create a fully functional system that meets all the requirements. So while the project is not yet complete, we're proud of what we have accomplished so far. ## What we learned One of the most important things we learned while working on the TI System project was the importance of agile methodologies and test-driven development. These techniques allowed us to make rapid progress and ensure that the system was reliable and robust. We also learned the value of having a solid design and a clear vision for the project. Without this, it would have been difficult to make progress, especially given the time constraints. Finally, we learned the importance of teamwork and collaboration. We all had to work together and leverage each other's strengths to get the project done ## What's next for TI. SYSTEM The next steps for the TI System project are to continue developing the functionality of the system. We want to add more features and make the system more user-friendly as what we did was only an MVP Demo not full functional. We also want to integrate the system with other tools and platforms to make it even more useful and powerful. In addition, we want to continue to test and improve the system to ensure that it is reliable and scalable. We believe that there is a lot of potential for the TI System, and we're excited to see where it goes from here.
